All of the episodes of Black Mirror rank from good to great. Not sure if the "White Christmas" 90 minute episode is on Netflix or not, but that's definitely one of the best.
The first season of House of Cards was really entertaining. Definitely worth watching.
And, I didn't see Mad Men on your list, DV.

Yeah, that's the one. It's way more on the moody side. I wouldn't necessarily compare it to True Detective but it's definitely more on that end of the spectrum.tragabigzanda wrote:Is that the one where Scully pursues a serial killer? What's the vibe? I highly recommend it. After only two episodes I'm all in. I'm not sure what I was expecting but it isn't quite what I expected.tragabigzanda wrote:Cool, that's what I was hoping. And I mean that in a very good way. I'd also highly recommend Broadchurch (season one) and Top of the Lake if you haven't seen either of those yet. This sits in comfortable company with those shows.

most of the episodes have nothing more than a few amusing moments to me...it just never comes together

it gets worse and worse, but just when i'm about to quit, something funny will happen and I'll keep watching. The "Ménage a Cinq" episode from last season was one of their best despite that season being mediocre.
