Not ever at Red Bull. He could try getting a seat with Cadillac.

I suspect that may happen. He definitely has a following here and in Mexico, so Cadillac could use that to their advantage next year for marketing.

Happy for Yuki!

Hopefully he doesn't put the car into the wall (his signature move :haha: )

FR tho he has looked pretty solid lately. Hope his stint works out well

kinda surprised Lawson will return to the Racing Bulls

I mean I get it, but the guy is a little bit of a loose cannon - basically rammed Checo when he was racing him last year

They must have given him clear team orders not to F with Yuki

should be an exciting scene

Yuki in Japan with Red Bull ... a japanese sponsor's dream

Bummed about Lawson. Kiwis are usually pretty good in motorsport so I had high hopes. He's very fortunate to be moved to a secondary team, though. The vast majority only get one shot in a minor team and then they're donezo.

i think part of this is RB acknowledges the car is tough to drive, but the clincher was that Lawson lost his confidence. so maybe he can get it back. this year didn't look like the hungry animal from last year. maybe he gets another shot (doubtful) . yuki deserves a chance at this point though

I've seen Lawson vs Max laps side-by-side and he's just terrified of losing the rear. I feel really bad for him. He could have pushed harder but he'd have ended up in the wall. I wish Yuki all the best but I think you've already predicted how this is going to go.

I thought Mitch Evans looked better than Lawson, but then he just disappeared.

Will be a lot of eyes on Yuki this weekend. I'm fairly neutral about it, but I agree that it would be a nice story if he did well. I also do not mean that as a slight on Lawson. He also has a chance to impress in a new car.
