Oh wait, did you mean the board as a whole? Similar to this. Same as s/t. Unless a song is pretty bad you would expect a strong reaction. It is new music from a favorite band. The thing is you can't tell the difference between vitalogy and s/t in the first weeks. These could be genuinely amazing or this could be the honeymoon. We won't know for a while.
So in the meantime I plan to fuck my brains out on the honeymoon and ask myself if I should have married this girl when it ends.
One positive is that with a few exceptions the people complaining about these songs are by and large the people who just don't care that much about what pearl jam does (as opposed to what they did) anymore.

And it took four years. Let's hope the remaining 5 tracks are jaw dropping and the 11th album drops in 2015.

You will wake up handcuffed to the bedposts with shit on your chest.
I really like 3/4 of S/T and 3/4 of BS and so far LB has 2x3* at best.

Now I want to start a "Predict your reaction to Lightning Bolt through sexual metaphors like stip's" thread. Someone reinforce my belief that this is a strong idea.

No matter what your expectations are, see above.

He sounded exactly like he did live to me on the outro. A mess.
Diff'rent strokes i guess.
There's no way he shits on the outro like he did live. Are you even listening to the same thing?
Sorry actually i mixed up the outro with the last verse. The bit i'm talking about is 'with no repair in ssiiakfdhgjdfgjfgfjt no god with such miiiieeeggghhhhhhh' and so on. I feel tired listening to him try and belt that out.
That is classic Ed and the best part of the song.

I can see SBM making a lot of sense in context now. It'll live or die on the instrumentation and arrangement.

I'd like to believe this was intentionally leaked to temper expectations.
"Guys, we cut a Shania Twain track. Lightning Bolt is still Lightning Bolt. Another song is built almost entirely around six seconds of vocal melody from the bridge of Thin Air.
But the rest is gonna be better."

Love them all!!!
Future days and swallowed hole weren't as immediate.
Loving Let the records play mom lightning bolt and getaway
Future days is addictive now
Swallowed hole is currently the grower.
If let's the records play was done by MMJ KOL AM we'd say its a great sounding song we wished Pj would do IMHO!!

Could a band on Pj's level enjoy a leak free release if they just pulled a radiohead and dropped it out of nowhere? I don't think leaks affect their final sales at all especially in that most of us buy multiple copies/formats.
Could be an idea for the next one?
Just a thought

So I went to sleep early last night, jet lagged and generally tired from a whole day of travel. I got 4 leaked songs which I'm currently digging in a major way.
Did anything else leak apart from Getaway, Lightning Bolt, Let The Records Play and Swallowed Whole?

look, a song still has to be good enough for me to want to get in bed with it. These are.

I think Getaway may be the best opener since Go!
Swallowed Whole has a lot in common With REM/Counting Crows and is a big grower.
Lightning Bolt is also very good, but I also liked the live Version - cant understand what so many fans dislike here? ITs pure Pearl Jam With a hint of U2

Based on the description of the rest of the songs i think I will love Infallible, Pendulum, Yellow moon and Sirens.
I am very unsure about My fahters son and the band Version of SBM
