Re: Talk about your day thread
Leaving for a quick five-day Eurotrip for a family function tomorrow
Excited, a little stressed, packing in a lot in a very brief amount of time
Will try at least 3 different hotel breakfasts

Re: Talk about your day thread
back in 2008 in nyc I had a weird accident with a door handle trying to enter a bodega..the door was jammed and I pulled and part of the metal handle went under my ring finger and twisted up my wedding ring to the point of no repair..I've been without one until today...regular silver band like my old one and just as expensive..$38..feels weird to have it on again

Re: Talk about your day thread
My wife and I have actually never worn wedding rings. I've never liked the idea of wearing a ring all the time. Seems annoying.

Re: Talk about your day thread
I’ve been without mine for about a month now. Gonna get a new one for our 25th and have to let the finger get back into non-ring shape. Apparently that takes a while. It’s almost there.

I recently bought a silicone wedding band for my whitewater rafting trip. It’s my main ring now. Feels so much better than a hard ring.

Re: Talk about your day thread
I've managed to not lose or destroy my wedding band for 25 years. Just as cheap as Doug's. I've never owned any other jewelry and can't stand a watch on my wrist, but I'd feel naked without the ring. Also helps wear down the fret ends on a new guitar, which is nice.
