Unless we are sealing borders (like stopping the 100k+ people a month crossing the southern border) that won't necessarily matter. Plus, by the time we can vaccinate the 5B unvaxxed folks we will be on double-zeta, meaning the vaccine is gonna be ineffective as target is moving so fast that it's a forever war. It's endemic like the flu, so we should prepare for that.

Agreed, but it's not clear on who we can blame and cut off from society here. Can you clarify? It's the most important part.
