PJ changed course with S/T half way though and its generally agreed that the leaked demos/sessions could have made for a more creative inspired album.
PJ have been also been known to shelve their stronger material.
What if the shelved "Cahn't denhy mheee LP" was secretly heading in a great direction but as it didn't scream "pearl jam is back!!!" it was set aside, and gigton is the next wrong turn!!!!?

it actually looks like he's wearing a bracelet or a ring, attached to which are two tiny bowling pins or rabbit ears; probably rabbit ears, bowling pins would be ridiculous

I forgot this existed, until it popped up halfway through that Rome webcast, watching Eddie wheeze up what little remains of his tattered voice while dementedly smashing a cowbell inexplicably tied to a chair. It would almost be funny if it wasn’t so fucking awful.
I would genuinely love to know what happened to make them finally see the light and bin off BOB, I wonder how much of it, if any, had to do with them waking up one morning and hearing this pile of shite, or more likely it’s because of a line in the sand being drawn with Cornell’s passing, and BOB’s producing that weird Cornell goes American Songbook album that his wife put out.
As much as I’d love to believe PJ had some sort of collective awakening where they remembered they were a good band, I imagine it has far more to do with the latter, and we all lucked out with Josh Evans having their ear to capitalise on this.
