Well, that one and Reckless are the classics. After those there are two or three good ones, with some standout tracks, but rehashes of songs which are already rehashes are sometimes hard to stomach. Going backwards yields some rewards as well if you can stomach the production. His 80s song "I'm ready" was a cheesy rocker until he rewrote it into a perfect ballad for his Unplugged show.

I made it through the weekend despite multiple Sirens-temptations. It started on the radio again yesterday while I was in the car with my girlfriend and I quickly changed the channel after I "heard the sirens". She played it up a little bit, claiming she'd already heard the song and thought it was amazing (she loves Just Breathe, and based on what I've read, her story jived). I almost believed her.

p.s. Trying to explain the NLC to an outsider, is like trying to explain being in something called the 10-club as a 36-year-old grown man.

im doing great ,i getting exited about the album, but my only concern still is the delay with the arrival of the vinyl.
Seems the washington vinyl was delayed now because they didnt have "boxes".

Guys, are we forgetting about perfectly legal Internet streams? Even if the 10C (or Amazon in my case) are late with our deliveries, there will still be two or three websites streaming this when the release date is a week or so away.

i told someone the other day that i was trying to decide if i wanted to listen to a song or not (Sirens) and the look i got was pretty funny

That's what I did, so Backspacer became the only PJ CD of which I have two copies. Kind of ironic considering it's my second least favourite album.

i bought a 2nd S/T even though it showed up on time because the disk was different, the fan club version was the avocado pit and the retail version was puzzle pieces

Same here, I have 2 copies of the last two for this same reason. Plus the hard-cover vs. cardboard gatefold design makes 'em different. In Canada we probably won't get the 10C record until November, so if I can get lossless FLACs with my download code then that will be my first listen - any format that isn't compressed or compromised will be the 1st listen actually. For me it's about complete album + audio quality + artwork (preferably).
