Hayden totally nails Clone wars Anakin. At every point. You lost a fight. Trust me. You lost.
Just that humour but with a bit of Anakin arrogance:)
Beautiful callbacks to himself and Ahsoka but also with Luke. Throw your weapon down. Mercy. Her eyes go sith when she has him at the end but that’s the lesson. One if many in here.

I can’t get over this. It’s absolutely stunning. And the music!!!!!

Very good stuff. I'm not sure it is quite on the level of some Andor episodes and season 2 of Mando, but it's clearly in the top tier of live action stuff.

A lot of things to go back and appreciate, but I could really feel the limitations of the Volume in the Anakin scenes.

I cannot, for the life of me, understand why Disney is letting Filoni do this. But thank sweet baby Jesus that they are. That was incredible.

Go read Bob Iger’s book. They absolutely have influence, if they choose to, on what Lucasfilm is doing.

I bring it up because Disney absolutely cares about maximizing the value of their IP and the freedom with which Filoni is operating—making what is literally “just” another season of Rebels in live action form whose plot depends wholly on previous events in both it and Clone Wars—is not going to lead to the type of $1B gross box office Disney wants with the eventual feature capper to this story.

Totally fine with me but I am left wondering when the other shoe is going to drop with Disney waking up from a nap and noticing what Filoni is doing.

WB fucked up the DC universe by all their suits from every department sticking their oars in on everything. From creative to financial and especially how much creative decisions would cost.
That’s why the whole thing sucked.
Disney don’t do that. Buy the IP. Leave it the fuck alone and let the people who make it do their thing. Iger genuinely doesn’t do anything apart from read the script on the movies and signs off the budget.
Fuck Disney and everything they’re and iger is doing to writers and creators right now, but all I know about him and them when it comes to SW is, they leave it well the fuck alone
