'Watch the Thrones" podcast for Grantland is doing a nice job for making sure i don't miss anything of note. Also it gives great background on the characters from the book perspective without spoiling anything. Recommend it.

I've been listening as well. Their "Ask the Maester" column each week is also very helpful.

Pretty much anything Jason Concepcion writes is great. I learn a new word every time I read his column and and yet he's not above dick and fart jokes.

The Nerdette podcast that chud mentioned earlier in this thread is also good--but they talk about the books a lot, so approach with spoiler caution! One thing they do that plenty of other podcasts and columns fail to do is actually criticize the show--for a show that's nearly critic-proof, it's refreshing to hear critiques that don't start from the perspective that it's the greatest show of all time.

Great ending to that episode! You think the Unsullied are good? Lord Barristan dispatches half a dozen of those baddies like it's nothing. That was great. As long as Greyworm is still alive, it was worth it. Might give Jorah an opening to get back in there again, with two of Dany's closest advisers dead or at least seriously hurt.
And I was very impressed with Stannis's story. He's not always the complete asshole he usually is.

I just meant the Unsullied were fighting against the Sons of the Harpy, but it was a struggle. Barristan came in there and just went to town like it was nothing (for a while at least).
