Burt, I don’t expect you to do this but…BurtReynolds wrote:Been going to PT for my neck and back and they seem to be improving (but mostly from doing exercises on YouTube). Been testing it out for a couple of weeks at the old battlestation, and it seems to be holding steady. Also the therapist is super cute and gives good massages, and my insurance covers it so that's a nice bonus. Was a very long year
I have had neck and back surgeries, about a year and a half apart. And while it helped the intense sciatic pain I was experiencing, there was still some discomfort in my lower back (right side).
A little over a year ago, my wife and I started going to Pilates. We go to one class a week, twice if we can make it work, and we have things at home that allow for some exercises.
I don’t know your situation, but it has been life-changing. Strengthens the core, and lengthens the spine. We mostly go to the reformer classes, but there are tower, and mat classes as well. Totally worth it.
Obviously, do the PT, if that’s helpful, but I tell anyone and everyone who suffers neck or back pain to give it a try.
