I booked my hotel for the World Series. It's nice knowing that we'd be hosting games 1, 2, 6, 7, but I still feel like a major jinx.

Pitching, a more potent (not completely anemic) offense thanks to the resurgence of Yelich and arrival of Contreras, Craig Counsell, and Secret Stadium Sauce.

According to G. Papa and Susan Slusser who have both covered Bay Area sports for decades, a Giants player who wanted to remain anonymous was recently asked if Gabe Kapler has lost the clubhouse. The answer was, “you can’t lose the clubhouse if you never had it.”
