One of my favorite Seattle breweries started canning a few years ago, and they began to become available here in oregon not long ago. They started with their more popular beers but some of their not-as-popular beers started to get canned recently. I’m friends with the beer buyer at our fancy grocery store in town, and he tries to supply the store with harder to find stuff. he placed an order for this particular porter for me. It’s probably not the best by any means, but it brings back a lot of memories and super grateful for the effort.epilogue wrote:Go on...bodysnatcher wrote:Porter

Maybe a super silly thank you card that says “wish you were beer”macphisto wrote:How will you repay this act of kindness?bodysnatcher wrote:One of my favorite Seattle breweries started canning a few years ago, and they began to become available here in oregon not long ago. I’m the same. Was on the IPA train for like 12 years, and I still like them but I’m leaning more into smoother beers. I alway move into the Porters and Stouts as the cold weather sets in too.epilogue wrote:bodysnatcher wrote:Maybe a super silly thank you card that says “wish you were beer”macphisto wrote:How will you repay this act of kindness?bodysnatcher wrote:One of my favorite Seattle breweries started canning a few years ago, and they began to become available here in oregon not long ago. I'm finally at the end of my IPA obsession. I've been so into porters and ambers and stouts lately. Still love a good IPA, of course, but nothing beats even a middle of the road porter for me right now.
