Serious question: Has Bogaerts peaked? And if he has, I'm fine with that and fine with him being our SS of the future. The thing I can't figure out is why does he hit third? He doesn't have a lot of power. He has a below average OPS. Hell, it would make more sense to have Betts hitting third.

I think his BA from last year earned him that spot for the time being, even if his OBP wasn't spectacular. If he improves his walk totals and has fewer Ks, I'm fine with him being where he is. I think we might just be expecting more pop out of the 3-spot, but his power has walked back as his overall hitting has improved (which is a fine trade, I think).

It's also easy to forget that he isn't going to turn 24 until the end of the regular season this year. I'd be fine with him "plateauing" at 200 hits per year for the next seven years.

I finally got to watch a Sox game this year, and thankfully I chose one in which the good Clay Buchholz showed up

Asshole just bought himself another month with that one good start.

Yeah, after the first inning I was imagining him going on a 15-day "vacation." But now we get to enjoy 1-3 with a 4.75 ERA for the next 5 starts.

Ugh, he's due in the rotation for the game I have tickets to next week. I was hoping he'd be gone by then.

Actually I just checked again the game I'm going to should have the same starter as tonight's game if they don't adjust from the 5 man rotation.

It's David Price bobblehead night. It'd be nice if he was pitching as well.

A co-worker of mine has tickets to that game as well, and he got an email from the Red Sox saying it's now a bobblehead of Price's dog.

I thought it was a bobblehead of Price with his dog.
