Things have gotten intriguing at the top of our league. Number 2 guy at 7-4 just beat 9-2 number one guy by just a few points. I got blown out to drop to 7-5, but play now 8-4 number two guy for the final bye next week.

Wait, I just remembered that tied records are broken by total points, so even if I beat number 2 guy for the second time this season, I'll still need to run the score up a bit to hopefully overtake him in points for the final bye. So lame.

I'm just playing out the string now.

Our big money prize is total points which runs through the playoffs and super bowl, so I am in the process now of dropping non-playoff players and picking up anyone I can that might make the playoffs.

Thought I'd come here and vent about my season so far....

12 team league, 8 make the playoffs.

I have the most points scored in the league, by a fairly wide margin. I also have had the most points scored against me by a fairly wide margin. That's just bad luck. My team is sitting at 5-7, and I should still make the playoffs, as the tiebreaker is total points scored.

I'm still going to take the title.
