Which lyric cards did you get? Or wait, did the vinyl with all of them and only the CD version had certain ones?

It came with the full size ones with picture on the front and lyrics on the back.

Also scored QOTSA Lullabies to Paralyze which I had been looking for forever. It was a lucky, but expensive day.

Holy fuck. Just got a new cartridge last week (audio technica at150mlx) and Lullabies is amazing. I Never Came is jaw dropping. So wish Fun Machine made it on to this.

Warrior doesn't even exist on vinyl? This is bullshit.

that IS a bootleg. counterfeit versions of no code, yield, binaural, lost dogs, and avocado have been issued within the last couple years. all are colored vinyl, making them pretty obvious as to their authenticity.

Ya figured it was a bootleg of some sort so didn't go crazy on it. Way less than what the same one goes for on ebay anyway. Record's a little noisy in spots, but overall not bad.

Picked up a cheap copy of Born to Run last night. I have a feeling it's going to sound glorious on vinyl, so I'm excited to give it a spin.

Question to you vinyl hounds: I'm in the market for a cheap turntable as a gift for a friend. He's never had one, so I just need something entry-level. It has to be cheap, like $50-$80 cheap. I know I'm not gonna get much for that price point, but does anyone have any recommendations? Brands/other things I should look for? Or avoid?

I'm wondering -what is the one record you guys want that is eluding you to this point? For me right now it's the Singles soundtrack. Can't find it. Not even on Discogs.

One that I'm actively seeking out? Hmm...honestly, I'm not too record-houndish right now because I'm asassuming that most of what I want will be reissued at some point. But I'd love a copy of Peter Bjorn and John's "Writer's Block" and Lambchop's "Damaged." Both go for upwards of $60, but I can't justify that right now.

Also, PS, there seem to be copies of the European pressing of the Singles soundtrack available on Discogs. But as one commenter says, I'd be wary, since the pressing has over 30 minutes of music per side: http://www.discogs.com/Various-Singles- ... se/1112235

Considering Cameron Crowe has his own label, I'm sort of surprised it hasn't been reissued. Probably has to do with licensing.

Singles soundtrack is a good one... but like Simple Torture just said, you get the sense that a lot of hard to find stuff will eventually be reissued. MOV does a good job of that - I would've never bought those first 3 STP records if I had to fork out the cash for original pressings.

There are a few Neil Young records that have eluded me: Ragged Glory, Sleeps with Angels, Broken Arrow and Greendale. Those are the last 4 studio albums that I need to complete my Neil collection and two of them (Ragged and Angels) are among my favourites. Sometimes when you know an album inside-out, and you've heard it a million times, you just don't feel like spending $75, or $100 to get the record.

Oh, forgot to mention REM Monster and New Adventures. My two favourite REM albums and I've never been able to pull the trigger even though they are out there. I get the sense they'll be reissued soon as there has been a lot or REM releases lately.
