I don't think it would be unpopular to say any track off of that album is top 5 on the album.
I think Garden is their most Skynyrd-like song in the catalog. I always get a Simple Man vibe from it.

Garden is maybe the one Ten song where I genuinely love the production and can’t picture it sounding any other way. It makes sense they don’t play it much live.
Keep on rockin’ in the free world.

They play it all the time these days!

It's been played at around 20% of Dark Matter shows so far.

That's more often than Animal, Hail Hail or Last Exit.

I think removing Gigaton from Dark Matter tour outside of some songs showing up rarely was the way to go. Those songs never sounded right to me live.

I feel the need to bump some stuff because the first page of topics is inundated with locked march madness threads. Is that an unpopular pearl jam opinion or just a fact?

Ten is the Forrest Gump of 90s music.

I’m not closed to the idea, but you gotta explain how this analogy works… unless you posit that Oceans is really a love song about Jen-nay.

Forrest Gump = actually good movie that got insanely popular until its ubiquity turned it's character and charming idiosyncrasies into punchlines. Its own earnestness was turned against it by a cynical world.

That's a good description.
I tend to lean more towards the overrated/bloated aspects of it.

Oh see I thought you were saying that ten was miserable jack off boomer fetishism, “saved” (not really) by some excellent performances

Evacuation is a great song.
Rival is one of their best songs

1) Evactuation might be a great song in someone else's catalogue. I've never cottoned to it, Pearl Jam-wise.
2) This is objectively true
