The Twins, Brewers, Reds, White Sox, Cubs, and Blue Jays all play at home during the week of my kids’ spring break next year.
That would be a ton of family fun.*

It helps that there are only a few hundred people at an A’s game. Still amazing though. I’ve never gotten one either.

there was a guy at comerica park about 5 years ago that caught 5 foul balls in one game and gave every single one to a little kid. there's a special place in heaven for that dude.

by the way, when we were at the tigers/white sox game on saturday night, there were at least 10 foul balls hit off the facade of the same 2 suites that would ricochet back into the lower deck about 3 sections over making for the easiest of catches. yet, there were still about 6-7 times that someone ended up booting it.

My personal record is 2 in one game (during which my group of 8 people at the game snagged 4 total … enough for each kid, 2 sets of twins actually, to have their own) but they were tossed into the stands by the outfielders after warmups between innings - not off anyone’s bat.

Any time I am with my kids, of course they get the ball(s) or if they have a friend at the game with us, give it to the friend.

I have been to one A’s game in Oakland and - yep - small crowd made it easy to obtain a foul ball. The closest kid at the time was an Angels fan, probably not more than 18 months. Had no idea what was going on when I handed them the ball.

Thinking back over the years … I am pretty sure I have only caught one foul ball in the air, I did have my glove on, and laid out across a few laps to catch it. Kept that one for myself and did not give it to the girl I was at the game on a date with.

I'm gonna have some Luxury Legions Suite seats down front, like 3 rows back next to the Yankee dugout. Look for me on TV.

:haha:

I'm wearing a Liberty hat.... As a Royals fan, I can't wear any Yankee gear. But as a New Yorker, I know better than to wear any Royals gear to the game. Especially that close. So, I split the difference. Wearing gear for the only NY team I support.

Went to the Brewers/Reds the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. My kids got autographs from Devin Williams and Freddy Peralta and Jackson Chourio threw my oldest a ball after warmups because he was down at the rail in his Brew Crew shirt. Great trip to the ballpark even if the Brewers lost in extras in what was to signal a bit of a slump that I'm hoping the come out of before the playoffs.

The NL bracket will be exciting to watch. I'm obviously biased for SD, but Brewers vs Dodgers would be great to watch.
