My son doesn't usually talk about movies after we watch them without prompting (What did you like? The whole thing. is the usual conversation) but after we watched Dr. Strange he kept going on and on about how weird the effects were and how much he enjoyed it. It was kind of cool to see him finally get excited about a movie in a non-kid "I love all movies!" kind of way.

Dr Strange was so boring...it felt so rushed. I wasnt expecting something good, but it was one of the most disposable movies i saw in a long time.

It's not too late to give him up for adoption

We liked it for the same reason. The effects we're great.

You laugh but I had a dream last night that we went to a store where you trade in your kids for younger models. It was creepy.

And as for messing with me, he has the worst straight face ever. Like, even when he's telling the truth about some things he cracks up.

Well, since it was my wife who actually acted on the idea and was playing with this young Asian girl...I have no idea what Freud would say about that.

I'm guessing, since he's fucking dead, Freud wouldn't have much of an opinion on the matter.

And Dr. Strange was definitely good. Made me finally like Cumberpatch, thought them going to the ER over and over again was kind of hilarious, and his confrontation with the big bad guy was also great. Not a lot to dislike.

I watched that new Joe Swanberg movie, Win It All, the other night. It was fun. Great cast. I was really engaged the whole time I was watching it but as soon as it was over I was like... yep. And moved right on to something else.

Ha, I've tried to watch it two or three times several years ago, but always when I was tired so I just fell asleep during the first 15 minutes. I have a hard time finding the time to watch a 2+ hour movie. Too many video games to play.

Did you enjoy it, though? Was it worth the effort to finally watch it?
