Medford, which is a fairly big suburb of Boston, just canceled school for 2 weeks. My brother works at a private high school in Arlington, also nearby, and they are online until 4/1. I'd be shocked if this didn't happen at most schools in MA/RI by the start of classes next week.

We don’t have guns or do any of that.

I did! They took bloods. Told me nothing except come back in two weeks.
Mind is split on what the game is here.
I’m probably over it and they want to keep an eye.
I dont care at this stage we’re all gonna encounter this now. Hopefully to lesser degrees.

Are they gonna close schools for 3-6 months?

This is crazy. I just got back from the grocery store and rice is low, canned goods are low, frozen items are low. Good Lord.

We did a Shipt order today and they had to replace Scott toilet paper with Target-brand toilet paper. Truly, we are living in the end times.

I busted the hose out of the shed today. Worst case, I put a mixing valve on that spigot and everyone gets an ass towel.

right now we literally live across the street from a whole foods..i went to safeway earlier to just get "normal" groceries and stuff..mistake..madhouse..spending extra is going to be worth it for awhile across the street..sorry about the toilet paper guys..we have about 40-50 mega charmin rolls..we'll see how far that gets us

There were rumors today, among people who generally know these things, that Baker was going to announce a closing of all schools for two weeks at his press conference today. He ended up not saying shit.

The multitude of stories about people's inability to get tested is getting utterly maddening.

This thread has taught me that there are more Seattle area RMers than I thought.
