more than any other PJ album, the sheer energy of their playing makes up for any lack of great songwriting
That's fair. I just can't get past the fact I really only like about half the songs on the album.

But wait! Insofar as compiling studio recordings in the form of an official release, there are at least 12 (Lost Dogs and Rearviewmirror). I have never included them in my rankings but maybe I should...

This is pretty much my personal list - exactly - but I put Yield below Ten/Vs cause it just seemed weird not having Ten/Vs higher. But I prefer to listen to Yield.

There are albums I don't play much, but none that I'm actually mad upon hearing.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I think S/T is an excellent album. I even enjoy Big Wave which I know is derided around here. I generally agree that the production wasn’t great but I enjoyed the songs. I also enjoy the studio version of Gone *gasp*.

100% agree on all points. Big Wave and Gone are both fantastic.

I agree....Backspacer and Lightning Bolt are clearly their worst two albums but I don't think either one is necessarily "bad".

1. Vitalogy
2. No Code
3. Ten

4. Vs.
5. Yield

6. Pearl Jam
7. Binaural
8. Riot Act

9. Backspacer
10. Lightning Bolt
