So that article brings up a lot of good points and im sure most would agree with them. However, why are people so emotionally invested in the thing that they feel they are being snubbed on a personal level? Entertainment Fandom again shows its head.
damn millenials
Yup. Stopped reading when i saw the word "problematic". It triggers me.

And that episode sucked. Not suspenseful, not scary, and the deaths were over the top dumb.

This would have been the end of the show if they'd gone this way.

My wife thought Maggie was a likely candidate, but the more I thought about how much crap the Sopranos got 10 years ago for showing a female character beaten, the more I realized there was no way in hell they were going to go there

They filmed all cast members getting killed by Lucille. Several were shown in those memory flashes that Rick experienced.

Shot dead, yes.
Burned alive, yes
Flesh ripped apart, yes
Decapitated, yes

Beat up, hell no

For whatever reason - I completely missed seeing the guy taking photos of the bashed in heads

Carol's reaction to Ezekiel was hysterical.

A fucking tiger. This show doesn't need a direwolf. It has Negan. Way to introduce hour most interesting villain and then ignore him for a week.

Btw, Negan reminds me so much of Powers Boothe in Tombstone. That's a good thing.

Did they actually do this? I've seen a couple of interviews with cast members where they say that was spread as a rumor

Yes. Several were shown.

Carol seeing the dead as the living is possibly foreshadowing
Spoiler: show
her lame death like the comic. I hope not. Comic Carol and TV Carol is the most different out of all adaptations.

I loved all the little spoilers added to the title sequence - iron, press, etc.

At least a week: keep in mind that the group is broken up (again): Rick's going back to Alexandria, we've this Kingdom situation now (how long until that turns bad?), and Darryl's with Negan, right?

So, based on show history, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him next week, either. Besides, this show has 14 more episodes to pad.

Other shows can visit different places in an episode while advancing story so I wonder what the thinking is at AMC.

And Maggie's going to Hilltop.
Spoiler: show
I would expect storylines at Alexandria, Hilltop, Kingdom and Sanctuary. This season will be dull while alliances form. Pre-war kinda sucks.

I'm one week behind on this, but that tiger king guy episode was fucking stupid. The first 15 minutes were amoungst the worst of the series.
