Well it has been hard for new people signing up to take part and get their heads around, for the reasons you stated, for a few years now.

I know. It bothers me.

We've had a few new posters over the last year who seemed to have no problem getting into this board.

I mostly stay out of threads like these. I'm not ever sure why I clicked on it tonight. Maybe because work is slow and there's been a bit of activity in it tonight. I don't know.

It's not impossible, and a lot of them are great posters, but super thick skin or not caring much about pearl jam anymore shouldn't have to be pre reqs for posting on a pearl jam message board. Nor should having to apologize for actually caring about them

I've seen a number of threads started by new people tryin to sell posters or looking for stuff, all get shot down or derailed by ridicule. I understand it when we get the inevitable influx looking for leaks around album time but outside that, it's not really very nice and happens quite a bit.
