I actually approve of Ted Cruz's honesty there. Shorter Cruz: "We as conservatives won't allow that liberal Obama to tip the balance of the Supreme Court if we can help it!" Duh.

I also liked how Carson said that the Constitution doesn't deal with a situation like this. And then talked about how Justices should maybe have term limits.

I think there's plenty within his constituency who's seen or felt the horrors of the Iraq War close enough that they would have less than positive feelings on the excursion.
