This presenting the cheek thing always gets me to. I never know what to do, usually go the peck.

This presenting the cheek thing always gets me to. I never know what to do, usually go the peck.

I actually find greeting Americans the most awkward because there's no real clarity. Do you just gesture awkwardly without touching? Do you shake hands? Do you do the side-hug thing? It's always different and always a little stilted IMO

Yeah I tend to do the press cheeks together thing. Glad that’s apparently acceptable. Another issue is I tend to naturally want to hug when doing this, which isn’t really part of it.

I would think the kissing thing would annoy you cuz of your height.

I had a handful of gals there for many years that for whatever reason, greeting included a cheek kiss. Nowadays, just my MIL.

So i got an invitation for the final of the polo championship here in Buenos Aires. They do it a the gorgeous campo de polo in the city, and its supposed to be attended by a very rich crowd.
My own president attended the semi finals and it might appear today.

I hope they have free booze.

After we finish that, I’ll be hanging Christmas lights on the house.

been about 7 weeks since my AC joint sprain

been consciously not exercising it, been sleeping on my back only, and hoping it nurses back to health

still not 100% but was well enough today to attempt some situps / core exercises again

badly needed

as being idle for almost two months has led to what i think is some mild sciatica

getting older sucks

gotta fight inactivity

managed some planks and situps and back feels a bit better already

hope when i wake up tomorrow i am not in pain

ready to work my way out of this again
