Rank the movies by gender rolls.
I like a strong, empowered dinner roll, myself.
Would Revenge of the Nerds be seen as "gender tone deaf" these days? Because I have it on good authority that women who take their clothes off on film are actually empowering themselves.
Was it that or Porky's where the dude pretends to be someone else to have sex with a girl?

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Some of this movie is cartoon like A Scanner Darkly. Basically there are three stories all being written/filmed by each other. It's a bit of a stretch and a mess but enjoyable enough. But oh what could have been.

I loved the start of it. But the last 40 minutes felt off. Did not get their choice for ending. I needed more revenge.

Do The Right Thing.
Brilliant. One of the quintessential masterpieces of American cinema. Just outstanding in every way.
