Nah not at all I was just giving random thoughts as we went. He was writing for the most part. Do love when songs or records finally dawn on you way down the road. Or artists for that matter.. Hasn’t happened in a long time personally.

my partner is ill, it's probably nothing but they're doing the right thing and self-isolating, so we've had to cancel my birthday weekend and I'm sad, so this thing needs to leak now

I remember taking a class called “ Psychology of persuasion” in college. One of the key takeaways was if someone gets this defensive, they’re full of shit.

I’ve never hated or even disliked a Pj record out the gate. Usually just to excited to get new music to form a thought. I’m sure we’re probably all the same. Only comparable first spin for me in terms of immediate reaction is Riot act.

For me it’s all about how they are live. And they haven’t been here in ten years and my touring to see them is over so it could be I’m being cynical and even a bit bitter. But it’s earned certainly when it comes to being over how much I’ve had to travel to see em

I’ve always enjoyed your input/opinions on here whenever a new PJ album is dropped. Sucks you don’t find the new album enjoyable but for me, S/T is near the top of my list and Riot Act was the low bar in terms of album rankings. I enjoy hearing both positive and negative reviews as I’m soaking in everything about the new album (and super stoked I just must say) . I think that’s what makes this band so special...different strokes for different folks
