I learned what subjectivity in music was when I was, like, 15? You're nearly fifty years old and you think "I only like good music" isn't an extremely cringey thing to say. I think boomer Facebook groups might be more your speed. What a colossal fuckwit.

I have seen derp ranking polls where it isn't even listed at all. People think it's a demo tape or doesn't count or something. So fucking dumb.

Rated R isn't as good as I remember. However, it has 2-4 of their very best songs.
Feels like a young bang not knowing how to write songs quite yet. They feel like loose jams, albeit very cool ones.

i been watching a few of the shows from this year, and they are tight.
Josh seems very happy to be there too. He seems to be in a better place than last tour.

I'm really loving the new album- I'm nodding my head through pretty much the whole thing. Sounds nice and heavy and groovy again.
FWIW,
I agree SFTD and LC are top tier.
But I really really like Era Vulgaris for its groove, particularly after the inconsistent LTP.
Suture up your future and Misfit Love are all time for me in the QOTSA catalogue.
I think they recaptured some of that vibe on In Times New Roman...
The Era Vulgaris era band sounded epic as well.
I always find myself rewatching this, admittedly from self titled, but still killer.
And here is another from the same era. The quality aint as good, though the performance is fantasic.

I really love Obscenery, Paper Machete, Negative Space, Carnavoyeur and Emotion Sickness from the new album.
