Do I need to explain representative democracy and the connection between motivating a political base and electing their representatives in Congress? Did we fall asleep in high school civics?

Funny thing is that if Trump had been saying the things Biden had been saying about any segment of the democratic voter base, the media would be screeching about the fall of democracy and the ushering in of a fascist dictatorship.

On the other hand, Republicans would be saying "based" and "finally, someone said what we're all thinking", and be happy that someone was finally doing something about the bad guys.

Everyone's reaction is based on what tribe they belong to. It's all discourse-brained. It's all planned. The red background and military isn't an accident. Can't really be helped at this point. Just enjoy the show.
