Interesting. I had no idea "bae" was an acronym. Of course, you've already proven you can't be trusted with this stuff, I'm going to need outside confirmation on this.

Im four stories away from finishing Pizzolatto´s book and in a few weeks this one is starting.
Its going to be a grim January for sure.

I just noticed today that the title of episode 1 of this season is "The Great War and Modern Memory." This is actually the title of
a book that studied World War I and how its catastrophic nature established trauma as a dominant form of cultural production for the rest of the century. I read that book twice during graduate school, and have no doubt Pizzolatto came across it in his studies at some point, too. I think, based on the bits of the trailer I've seen, that these ideas are going to be a driving force behind the series.
