Depends on how drunk I get on the honeymoon.

Some new additions today. Firstly, my wife got me an early Christmas present, which is super awesome:

And then I found these two bad boys unopened at a used store for really cheap. Had never heard of either, but I just felt I had to try them out:

The first one is Norwegian hard rock, and the second, which is Rising by Corpus Christii, is Portuguese black metal. Both sound awesome from the little I've listened to so far.

Great comedy find at Newbury Comics today: David Cross's "Shut Up You Fucking Baby," 3xLP. Only $16! Decided to order one of his other ones tonight.

Also, recently:

The Antlers - "Undersea"
Sun Kil Moon - "Third & Seneca"
Eels - "Myspace Transmissions"

I had pre-ordered it on Amazon, but they sent me the dreaded "We probably won't be able to fulfill your order..." e-mail. Day after my wedding, we went to the mall to buy bathing suits for the honeymoon and I popped into the record store there. They had one copy.

Also got the same email for the Mike McCready EP, but I doubt I'll ever come across that at a decent price. But I've been surprised before.

Heh dame email. No interest in that one but I can imagine. Crowe either gave amazon very little or no inventory I suppose. Found third and Seneca elsewhere.

Went pretty wild this holiday. And this record was a definite highlight.

Dipping my toe into the Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds reissues and ordered "Arbatoir Blues/Lyre of Orpheus" UK edition. I'm afraid it won't be released into the U.S., so I waited for the Amazon import price to come down a bit and pulled the trigger.

Watch the Amazon 3rd-party new prices, they've been mucb lower sometimes (~$28).

Picked up a Pioneer Sx-727 receiver today. Got a really good price on it, but it needs a little love before I hook my turntable up to it full time. It needs a good cleaning inside and out, but that is no big deal. I figure it would be a good winter project and when it is done I will end up with something that is much better than what I had before.
