did he just have a brain fart and confuse kneeling with spiking? i can't think of any other reason he would do that
Why were they going to spike it though? There was only six seconds left and they were coming off an eagles timeout. Why come out and spike it instead of kicking a field goal?

Here is my theory: before the delay of game penalty (which should probably be an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, huh?) they planned to spike it. After the penalty, for some reason, they were going to run a fake-spike fade, but the refs blew it dead. And that just confused the shit out of Curt Cousins.

The situation makes no sense bc the Eagles called a timeout. The clock was stopped. And a field goal puts them up 9 with the ball to start the 2nd half. It was just ugly, but in the end not costly.

Also, Peyton's a loser and the league should take 1st round picks from the Colts and Broncos for more probably than not being generally aware that Peyton cheated.

If he plays for another 10 years, I'm pretty sureI'll be calling him Curt for 8/10 of them.

About 2 months ago someone on twitter said "Feels like Kirk Cousins is on the verge of becoming someone's Scott Mitchell"
i think that about sums it up.

Some terrible journalism going on in that Al Jazeera report on doping. It's basically 90% hearsay from one douchey dude, who sounds like he's trying to impress people. I'm also not exactly sure if they actually know any of the doping policies for the various leagues. Pretty sure most of the stuff they were talking about isn't actually illegal.
LOL at "Clay Matthews took some painkillers during the NFC championship game." NFL players get fucking epidurals at halftime, who the fuck cares about a couple of Percocets.

Post-game report is that Patriots wanted to kick, so Slater's mistake was choosing to kick instead of choosing which end to defend.

Aren't they basically locked into the 5 seed? Do they have much to play for?

It will fade fast because it likely won't impact anything for playoff position. At least not for NE.

5 seed play at Washington.
6 seed play at GB or MIN could still happen. Rams got our number man, it's weird.
