Here's an honest question: I know Judge has bounced around with injuries and he's proven to be not much more than a bat when it counts (and that was shaky in the Series). Is he really a HOF player or just a really large human with good marketing?

I talked about that a few pages ago. His ceiling is obviously out of this world, but he’s missed so much time and been so atrocious in the postseason that he’s gotta play long enough to get his counting stats up to really secure a spot. But two MVPs and the AL HR record are obviously big deals, so he’s not really borderline—just at danger of missing the HOF if he has something like a catastrophic injury or something that nags him for years and depresses his numbers.

they had so many of his cards there.

if you look at all his cards there is one thing in common aside from it being roberto. he is always looking towards the sky and he never has hit hat casting a shadow on his face.

also he told his family he always believed he would die in a plane crash on the ocean. story goes he even told his wife before they married. when asked why she still married him she said if God has a plan for him then Gods' plan for me is to be there to pick up the pieces.

they also have a propeller in glass case from the wreckage. pretty effin morbid until you understand that everyone doubted the plane had actually crashed and the body was never found

Yeah, but where is the line?
The pitch timer, ghost runner on extra innings, bigger base pads, check pitch limit, etc etc.

Not saying these updates don't work, just not sure we need to get ridiculous.

Working hard to distract from the fact that two MLB clubs are gonna play in minor league parks for the foreseeable future.

Also, hey, not targeting a specific poster here because I see it everywhere, but the extra-inning runners are NOT ghost runners, because that assumes there’s no actual person there (what we’d all do in whiffle ball if you didn’t have enough people to run the bases). These are more appropriately zombie runners, because they made the final out of the last inning but get to come back from the dead.
