Maybe he hates racists.

The players have way too much control in the NBA and I can't think of a way to swing things back the other way a little. It's pretty ridiculous when guys who havent accomplished anything except being injury prone get to call their own shots (I'm talking about KP but it actually applies to AD too). What's next, Collin Sexton or some dude like that demanding a trade? The cat is out of the bag so who knows.

AD is very, very different than Porzingas. I have zero problem with him trying to get away from a bumbling franchise that hasn't successfully built around him. Yeah, he's had injuries but he's an incredible player and he has the clout to pull this kind of move. Porzingas, no. Kyrie with 2 full years before his option left, no. AD, yeah.

I was either reading or listening to some sports thing the other day and they were talking about this. Back in the day, it got a bit boring as players stayed on the same teams and rarely moved, which became boring (see Celtics-Lakers in the 80s).

And now things have swayed way too much in the player's direction.

Maybe we need someone like Roger Goddell to fix this (just kidding, kind of).

The lack of player movement in the 80s may have led to Lakers Celtics predictability but hyper player mobility and the ensuing super teams have led to the same thing. It might be even worse now as there is zero chance the warriors lose this year and at least those Lakers Celtics series were always a toss up.
