then over time americans will directly choose what to fund

maybe they find they dont want to give the military $6.5 Trillion to cover spending overruns

maybe instead we only give them $2.5 T and spend the other $4 T on free healthcare and education for all, and infrastructure from this century

In a shut down do the White House catering staff and housekeeping staff have to remain at post? Are they exempt from the shutdown or if not can they just stay home?

Trump tweeted about being in the white alone. I believed that one. All the best people have been fired or jumped ship. But is he just ordering take out every night?

Are security and the secret service guys in the building getting paid?

Every shutdown is different. It comes down to what has or hasn't been funded through other bills.

He has since deleted the tweet but I'm sure you can find a screenshot.

Great being with the National Champion Clemson Tigers last night at the White House. Because of the Shutdown I served them massive amounts of Fast Food (I Paid), over 1000 hamberders etc. Within one hour, it was all gone. Great guys and big eaters!

An interesting point further down the thread: Where's Barron? Is it just so much of a dumpster fire that no one cares about the kid anymore?
