Same's been happening for PJ, but from their fans.

I don't think many people here give a shit how old they are.

It's how you wear it that counts.

Harmless which of these tracks has your favorite drumming? I can't remember if you stated that in one of your posts. I love what he does on SW (Still my clear favorite song of the bunch too).

I've liked bits and pieces from all of the leaks, but there's so many more layers this time I've been enjoying them as a whole more than I've been picking out the drums. The jam at the end of LTRP is a highlight; so is the loose Riot Act grooviness of Getaway. But they all have their pluses. The added percussion of LB is nice. MYM, for all that I really like the song, has disappointingly basic drumming.

Well..was busy all weekend and hadn't listened to these four songs since Friday night. Well....Getaway is my favorite song since Yield. There I said it! Wow. Loving it. L.O.V.I.N.G it!

And well...Lightning Bolt rocks too. Got a bad rap from the Wrigley performance I think. Shit is good.

LTRP. Love that they are doing something a little different and new. Love Jeff and Mike on this one.

Swallowed Whole. Didn't like it a tonne the first few go around. Fresh love for it today. Add to MYM and these are five top quality tunes to get things rolling. And...the most anticipated songs (for me) aren't even out yet!

Best album since Yield.

;-)

After Backspacer, I'd never have imagined that half this album would have so much pressure put on it

A good drummer is like a sex pest. He rides the band, not the other way round.

Oddly enough I think it took Backspacer to appreciate the guys again. I liked the album a lot, but took it as it was and wasn't looking for anything more out of it other than some songs I liked listening to. The thing was, they weren't the kind of songs that were filling, they were just a snack. I find myself dissecting these news songs on a level I hadn't had since a few albums ago. Its a great feeling!

Yup. It was quite disconcerting to start dissecting the S/T tracks (and OK, a few of the Backspacer tracks) and then find out they were hollow Easter eggs. That may happen again, who knows, but considering how much I've played these to myself, I really doubt it.

I know I'm late to the party but can someone tell me where I can find these? I would ask for a pm but that's against the rules isn't it?

Trying to remember how I played BS during the first few days...
Nope, I pretty much filtered out the stuff I disliked very quickly, upon first or second listen even.
It's not the same.

I kind of want Outkast to cover MYM in the style of Hey Ya.

Couldn't agree more. I liked these songs after first listen more than the majority of Backspacer..hasn't changed over the weekend.

Will 'Lightning Bolt' be PJ's 'Sex on Fire'?

Oh my. Been out of the loop for a few days and I missed a significant leak! Can anyone point me in the direction of these tunes so I can join the fun?
