Does LeBron really think throwing an IG tantrum is going to land Davis tomorrow?

Yes, that trainwreck against the Pacers should be getting a lot more attention. No one looked like they wanted to be there.verb_to_trust wrote:Fuck LeBron. I mean, I get he brought your team championships but he's basically a megalomaniac who doesn't seem to realize how stupid every move he's made since like 2010 has been. It's never his fault, he's constantly turning over his rosters. Cutting off his young Lakers teammates at the knees should be getting him a lot of heat but for some reason it's not.

I disagree with this. He has no hope of beating this current Warriors team for as long as they stay together and stay healthy. But even with that trash Cavs team last year they win against anybody but the Warriors, an all time great collection of talent. Even with all the awful personnel decisions and lack of youth and development, etc., he's still so good that if it weren't for the superest of super teams that he'd have rings on two hands by now.verb_to_trust wrote:I actually want Davis to go to the Lakers because Lebron, Davis and Lance Stephenson is still not even close to enough to do anything and Davis will be stuck trying to win with 38 year old LeBron while other teams constructed by people without a God complex pound their ass.
The Lakers were the 4 seed on Christmas day. Without all this trade drama they could have been competitive against anybody except for the Warriors even with this horribly constructed roster that doesn't fit today's league at all. (With this trade drama this team probably goes like 10-20 the rest of the way and totally flames out unless something major changes.) You've rightfully mocked this roster for a long time so don't act like Lonzo and Ingram are any good right now.verb_to_trust wrote:It's not true now. The Lakers, with some talented young players, just got pounded by 50 on the road against a mediocre Pacers team. You really don't think Lebrons thirst for Davis means he thinks he can win with him??
Weren't the Grizz and Clips in the top of the conference standings for a while?4/5 wrote:The Lakers were the 4 seed on Christmas day. Idk what LeBron is thinking. I think he's repeatedly made very poor decisions. But yeah he probably thinks that if he gets AD that he can win next year if KD leaves GS. He probably imagined himself as Kareem and AD as Magic and that he'd win a couple more rings. Idk.
Would the Lakers be the 9 seed right now if LeBron didn't miss 5 weeks?verb_to_trust wrote: Weren't the Grizz and Clips in the top of the conference standings for a while?
