There's a lovely lady at work originally from (some country that uses the metric system). I gave her a drawing in mm and she asked for it to be converted into inches, both because she had a yardstick on hand, and because at this point she's probably more comfortable with inches.

America exists to accept refugees from the metric system, and we should embrace that role. We certainly should consider those that use the imperial system and have suffered discrimination because of it to be candidates for asylum.

It's just so bizarre. How does admitting there was collusion in the campaign make this better? It reminded me of the scene in Casino where Sam confronts the slot manager for too many machines hitting at once and fires him : "either you were in on it, or you were too stupid to know what was happening!
