And knowing zeb I have a feeling we'll be lucky to see him again before 2030. Which sucks because he's one of our best.

I think he was always going to leave after the tournament and just took the opportunity to have a pop at Soma on his way out.

yeah, i kinda hate when they do that.

Horehound from Dead Wheather is like that but at least they printed a cool pic in the vinyl itself.

Might be an unpopular opinion, but it’s kind of a different band (sort of?) after SFTD, and I like it better. SFTD was the first album I heard, way back then, and I still kind of struggle with it. It’s just me. First two albums have a few gems, but I don’t listen to them much. LTP may not be their best, but I loved the direction it went in, and became the first album I really liked. Then EV is just… a lot better. And now these last 3 albums sound like a mature band, each of them with their own style but soaked in that Queens sound. Either way, I do believe Homme to be a top tier talent of his generation… no question.

You're not alone.
One thing I love about Homme is how big and heavy his footprint is on everything he's involved in. He really makes his presence felt.

These guys are great but I don’t think they ever topped SFTD. Like Clockwork came close.

Like Clockwork is number one. It's a perfect album.

I feel like Clockwork is more consistent but it doesn’t have the high points that Songs has. It’s a tough call tho

I hope they go for a different sound in the next one. The last three seem like a trilogy, and thats reinforced with back cover of the last album too.

For me;

Rated R
Like Clockwork
ST
Era Vulgaris
SFTD
LB
ITNR
Villains
