The price of concert tickets doesn't feel like the end all/be all of political causes to me, anymore. It would bother me if they were sending out press releases patting themselves on the back for having supremely affordable concerts. There is some daylight between imperfection and hypocrisy

I definitely agree with you here; there are more important things you can be doing than making it easier for your fans to come worship you

as for anger, I think it makes change; people are angry at the "bad guy" because they fiercely love and support the "good guy"; so you could see anger as the opposite side of the same coin as love

but that's all abstract shit I believe as an activist-type personality; personally, I'm not angry at Pearl Jam, but I think it's very healthy that some people are, because if they are listening to the critiques (of people who love(d) them, and that's important), it will, we hope, inform and inspire their practices going forward

That’s the weird part, I’m from Pittsburgh (Pirates fan unfortunately) so I have no use for an Orioles helmet with EV’s scribble on it lol. It’s proudly being displayed in the back of a closet somewhere.

This song kills, had it on repeat in the gym today. Upgraded to 4 stars and it's not just a recency thing. I see this one having some staying power with me.

I agree with that list, Trag, and there's surely even more; I have considered them a very activist(ic?) band lyrically, in both overt and abstract / emotional ways
