He was terrible today. That comment was a general statement of the way it is. But even today with him playing passively and poorly, there were multiple whistles he clearly should have gotten at the basket. The officiating was terrible today, but I'm saying in general LeBron gets NOTHING like Jordan, Kobe, or Durant calls.

I'm sure they wanted to whistle that final drive..... the strip was just THAT clean.

It was a lot cleaner than the same play from a minute before when Butler slapped his wrist and there was no call, that's for sure.

Good game, Verb. Your boys completely and totally dominated the 4th quarter and OT, there's no denying that.

I'll be rooting for the Bulls to matchup against the Pacers in round 2.

You have to at least be happy that Wade isn't out there looking like a corpse. He hasn't had the amount of energy I saw today since his last pre Gabby Union orgy...

And back to the Paul George thing for a second, am I the only one who thought this was an insane thing for a competitive pro athlete to say?

I just read the article again. It's weird that "best two-way player" was in the sub headline. The narrative was really about his growth and promise as a player, when compared to other stars at the same age.

Either way, he still scares the shit out of me on the court.

Maybe Boy George has a chance at this mentorship with Leblood. Just listened to the post game comments from LeBron and he says there are 'no rivalries in pro basketball'.

Do they Heat really refer to themselves as the "Heatles" in the pre game huddle btw? 1...2....3!...........Heatles?! These guys really say that before games to get up? Embarrassing.

Meh, it was a derogatory nickname people called them and they apparently decided to embrace it. At the Heat's family fest a couple weeks ago Wade was wearing a "Heatles" t-shirt complete with the Beatles font. *shrugs*

I prefer to believe this is simply the nickname they like best. For some reason I seem to recall LeBron either coming up with it or endorsing it.

EDIT: I was right. And what better way to fire yourself up before a game than to reference your ability to sell out on the road in the team huddle. HEATLES!
