Also, i once went through a phase of wanting a bigbsy. I grew out of it. Glad i didnt get any attached to my guitars.

I had a Telecaster with a Bigsby for a while, it was great.

I've always hated Stratocasters: the dorkiest, most Boomer electric guitar imaginable.

But now I think I want one?

It's hard to break the idea of associating Stratocasters with guys trying miserably to cop Hendrix/Gilmour/Knopfler etc. licks.

But it's also a crazy example of 1950s engineering, it must have seemed like it came from outer space at the time.

maybe strats are the most visually appealing guitars.
