Did they specify why no Vault release?

No interest in the Unplugged, just not a show that I've ever really enjoyed.

No. There no official word. They've just never announced it any later than Sept.

i thought they were trying to pass the "vault release" off as the seattle '18 show.

It doesn't seem like others were, at least here, but I was really excited to see the Unplugged set getting a CD/vinyl release. This is something I hoped and wished for when I was 13. Never thought I'd have to wait 28 years, but well them's the breaks. <Philip J Fry take my money dot gif>

I have no interest in the CD, I only logged in for the vinyl but turns out it's only open for analog membership (at least the pre-sale).
I recommend looking for the Ten Deluxe edition from 2009, it includes an MTV Unplugged DVD (and I've seen it in both digital and physical stores like MixUp).
