I assume anything that comes off the non fat part of the bat is just a measly ground out. This thing is going to magnify the feast or famine approach at the plate that’s really hurting baseball.Simple Torture wrote:de la Cruz used a torpedo bat last night and went 4-5 with 2 HR and 7 RBI.

the thing I love about the blue jays is their fans travel to road games..they will fill the stadium for a mariners game and as always so nice and buy you some beers..Farmer John wrote:Is it too early to check the standings?

Unfortunately, those days may be over. The US boycott is in full effect. You'll have to fill your own stadium now, Seattle!doug rr wrote:the thing I love about the blue jays is their fans travel to road games..they will fill the stadium for a mariners game and as always so nice and buy you some beers..

Willie Adames will do that to you. Really liked his time with the Brewers.Matters wrote:Giants are fun again
When you add in that his last pitch of the 2024 season was Freddie's walk-off grand slam, I'm surprised Cortes didn't leap from the nearest tall bridge. Four pitches, four dingers. Oof.Matters wrote:Nestor Cortés gave up three HR’s on his first three pitches of the game. It’s a really tough stat to look up but I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s the only pitcher ever to do that. They were also his first three pitches of the season!
Update: It was a cold and misty night game, but he still really enjoyed it. Our seats were in the 8th row with a perfect view of throws to first base. I've never sat that close at an MLB game so it was really fun to see all of the interactions between players and the officials. Kid got a hat and hasn't taken it off since.Monkey_Driven wrote:Taking my oldest to his first MLB game next Friday. What's something that we have to do?
