you can be honest with yourself (not you), and know when to stfu, and when to say something positive to someone else no matter how homogenous you come off.

a lot of people - myself included - grew up in a world where we were told to dust ourselves off or rub some dirt on it, stop crying, etc. so yes, i can see his heart may be in the right place, but how fucking hard is it to say, "hope things improve," or...don't say anything at all.
