You absolute ghouls making fun of me about it was actually preferable as it at least never took me to a place of worry. Nobody ever quotes the nice things I say. I said I like wease even though I know he's disgusted by me. I also said he'll be fine when others are "hoping" and "sorry". I'm just a different guy when it comes to this stuff. I definitely agree I should have just kept my mouth shut.

this is the part to focus on. when it happened to you you didnt want the well wishes and that is fine and i understand what you mean. but you cant expect everyone to feel the same way. people react differently to different situation.

from my personal experience with not being able to breathe the anxiety of not being able to take a deep breath or even sometimes catch my breath was terrifying i spent countless hours going through ghoulish scenarios in my head that only added fuel to the fire

you can go on and say no one quotes the nice things i say but when 95% of your posts are negative or condescending those tend to get lost in the shuffle

United Airlines has a message for its employees: Get vaccinated or get packing.

Well, 593 employees refused that request and have now been terminated.


In a memo circulated throughout the company this week, United clarified that that 593 number represents just 1% of the company’s workforce. That means 99% of United employees elected to seek out vaccination.

Still can’t take a deep breath. Still having dizziness and extremely fatigued. Still some body aches. Cough and sinus issues are pretty much gone. I’ve never had anything knock it out of me like this. It’s all I can do to stay awake and all I want to do is sleep. I’ve been told it takes a couple of days for the infusion to really start making a difference so maybe tomorrow the tide will turn a bit.

The kids are fine. We suspect Mrs Wease had it and actually gave it to me. When she went to her provider, they didn’t bother testing her because “Covid is just the flu anyway” so they just treated her for a sinus infection. She won’t be back to that provider. And she’s been going to her for 17-18 years.

One more symptom, my appetite is practically nonexistent right now. I feel hungry, but don’t even want to eat after the first 4-5 bites. I’ve lost 14 lbs since last Tuesday.

Hope you feel better. I got Covid like 8-9 months ago. My smell is still basically non-existent and my taste and appetite never really recovered. Lost 35 pounds which was good, and I feel better than I have in a while, but the lack of smell/taste is driving me nuts at this point.

My wife lost her taste and smell, as well. I think they’re slowly coming back for her.
