My sleep schedule is all fucked up and my tummy hurts. I think I've had maybe 6 hours sleep in the last three days. Work work work. Only another couple of months of this. I'm sure I'll be fine...*dies*.

I'm not really working for anyone else. I'm back to being self employed. Twice the work for half the money!

Been an absolute roller coaster of emotions at work lately. A few months ago we found out that the company that bought us about a year ago is planning on sun-setting the product that we work on. We didn't really get much more information about that. Since then a lot of the 'new' development work has been scrapped in favour of value adding with what we already have. Then last week after having been away for a bit - came back to a message that because I've been with the company for 15 years (through different owners) I get a $850 voucher - cool! Then this morning we get told that two positions in the office are going and final decisions on them will be made tomorrow - with another meeting soon to discuss the future of the NZ team. We only have about 15 people in the NZ team. One of them is retiring next week - so loosing another two is huge! I think I'm safe.....for now. Once the inevitable comes I think I'm going to make a huge pivot on my career

Plenty of jobs in my field - just thinking a change would be nice. Maybe go off an be one of those abseiling window washer guys for office blocks, or go do maintenance on wind turbines or something
