Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Watched Score and it was fairly good. Lots of interesting stuff about music in movies, but also lots of boring fluff about music in movies. Also a few interviews with people who truly had nothing to say about music and wasted time that could have been used talking to someone who did.

Also watched Gladiator for the first time in years. It's still a good film, that 77% RT score is about right. But the CGI use and some scene selections where it's just...why are you showing us the sun, Ridley? And what's this transition supposed to signify? No clue.
