Helped make toasted sandwiches for the Mother’s Day Breakfast event at the kid’s school for the second year running. All was going smoothly until my station partner started taking made to order requests during the height of service, which is a bit tricky when you have a panini press that only makes four at a time.

Yeah ham and cheese. My station partner is a mate, so I knew what he was up to. Taking orders as a way to flirt with the pretty mums.
Also the Kmart panini presses aren’t the greatest after about ten minutes of use, so as the event went on the toasties took longer. At least our press didn’t crap out twice like last year.

My daughter recently moved up to the 'seniors' Taekwondo class - and ages ago I'd told her I'd do it with her.....so this week I started doing Taekwondo. Still too early to know how I feel about this change. I will say that even though the Taekwondo class runs half an hour longer than Jits - I always walk out of Jiu Jitsu feeling WAY more gassed

Re: Talk about your day thread
had a weird sticky outty growth off my cheek dangling there for a couple months, getting caught on shirts and bleeding, really tapping my OCD, picking at it all the time, hard to shave around. finally had a derm remove it the other day. so nice. but weird. feels like i had a small finger removed or something. feels like having an "addiction" excised. it's just, gone now. should find out if it's cancer or not soon. probably not. can't fix my brain though either way

Headed over to the university to see the oldest Weaseling graduate college. She’s the first on my side to hit this particular milestone. So proud.
Then after that, Mrs Wease and I are going on up to Nashville to work the soccer game.

Some very nice people also in town for graduation gave us a boost. We only a few minutes behind schedule but got good seats and didn’t miss anything. Can’t believe I’m the father of a college graduate.

The best thing about this new board is the avatars on the right. Jorge writes a line like this and then it’s followed by the perfect Spaceghost pic. Mine would be great if I ever said anything gormless. But I don’t, obviously.
