I tend to agree, especially since now just pitching a complete game is notable, but I am always impressed when everyone is on their A game.
I live in Minnesota, though, and we don’t have baseball anymore.
I was at a twins game the day before Strats wedding and they won. I’ll cherish that memory of them
My best memory is obviously game 7 in 91. My best in-person memory is game 163 in 2009. It was my last time in the Metrodome. I don’t have a significant Twins memory since then.

It’s a damn shame that they won’t do 163rd games anymore.

It’s a damn shame they don’t do 154 games anymore with scheduled doubleheaders.

A damn shame we don’t get this anymore. For reference, a balk was called against the Orioles pitcher in the top of the 1st inning.

No kidding. This is why being a fan of small market teams is my favorite. It feels like an absolute lightning strike instead of all the wins money can buy. So much more fun.

Congrats on Misiorowski‘s arm staying super healthy.

His arm’s fine, he’s on the DL for his tibia. Forcing him to rest probably isn’t a bad thing anyway, especially since another top prospect, Logan Henderson, can step in.

I'll live happily in a world where the top NL and AL teams are "small market". Well, I'm in that world now and I'm pretty unhappy overall but I'm happy with baseball.

This isn’t as bad as when Canadians fans call the cops on Bruins players because of cross checks, but I respect this level of alcoholism.
