Huh? An Ohio State win over Michigan likely seals their ticket to the playoff and also tears Michigan's up. Had Michigan not lost to Iowa there could have been an argument that both teams could get in.
The rapists and Michigan control their own destiny. Osu doesn't.
So the committee would put in a two-loss PSU over a one-loss tOSU? I suppose that's possible, considering PSU has the head to head.

No but winning the conference eliminates all doubt. Plus nobody wants to see Penn St win the Big Ten. And now Ohio St can't end an undefeated Michigan season and bathe in all the sweet Wolverine tears.
A two loss Penn St team wouldn't get in over Ohio St which would have wins over Oklahoma, Michigan, Wisconsin and Nebraska.

Wouldn't knocking them out of the playoff picture still be tasty enough tears?

Admittedly, I'm a Clemson homer, but why are people mad that they are ranked 4th and ahead of Louisville? IIRC, the Tigers won the head to head match up.

Because people are still going by the traditional Top 25 model.

Well, those angry people need to STFU considering what Houston's doing to them right now.

Ha ha, Bobby.
I so want there to be Chelsea trolling in that costume too for whatever reason.
Looking like it's Alabama, Clemson, Washington and either B1G champ, B1G at large or even the classic Oklahoma screw job.
If Penn State wins out, they probably lose to Wisconsin and Wisconsin could get in by virtue of winning the championship even with 2 losses.
Man, the last 2 spots are kind of exciting.
How much are they really going to try and find the best team or is it going to be purely based on a championship and or who/when they lost?

I'm confused. You say winning the conference eliminates all doubt, which Penn State could very well do. But then you say they would put in 1 loss Ohio Stat over 2 loss Penn State, even though they won the conference?

Le Batard posted that pic this morning on his twitter. A+ trolling.

So... what if Washington State continues their run and beats both Colorado and Washington?
Unlikely, but they open the season with losses to the Red Field and then the Blue field and they can still win potentially the Pac 12.... Wow. Both pills from the matrix....
Also, Michigan has given up only 110 pts this year, that's pretty amazing.

I hope it happens. Along with Michigan losing to Penn State, Penn State winning the Big 10, and Clemson losing the ACC championship game now that Louisville is out. I want a huge clusterfuck to see how they handle the final 4. At this point 'Bama is probably in no matter what, but them losing to Auburn would be great too.

yeah for bama i think the only thing that could have hurt our chances, would be if last weekend played out the exact same way sans auburn losing to georgia...if they hadn't lost to uga and then beat us in the iron bowl they'd make the sec championship, but as at one loss we possibly have been jumped by one loss conference champions

You just put Washington in ahead of any B1G team

Assuming a lot, but that's with Ohio State beating Michigan and Washington winning the Pac12 and Penn State/Wisconsin being in the championship game. If Michigan wins out they are probably the 2, and then my guess is Clempson and Washington. That said, it could get absolutely crazy in the next two weeks, and the Apple Cup is really critical to the national picture depending on what happens today.
USCs run defense was pretty nasty the last two weeks

I'm saying it's possible they could put Penn State in ahead of Ohio State which I think would be a mistake. Ohio State winning the conference would make that discussion moot.
